Since achieving a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1995, Jay has worked soley in the mechanical consulting industry. In 2003, Jay became a partner with the firm Field, Field & Field Architecture-Engineering Ltd. In 2014, the father-son team of Jack and Jay Field established Field Engineering
Since achieving a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1995, Jay has worked soley in the mechanical consulting industry. In 2003, Jay became a partner with the firm Field, Field & Field Architecture-Engineering Ltd. In 2014, the father-son team of Jack and Jay Field established Field Engineering & Associates Ltd. specializing in mechanical and electrical systems for building structures. Jay’s expertise in mechanical system design includes H.V.A.C., plumbing, automation and specialty mechanical systems design. He has a strong working knowledge of building systems and their effective application within the unique parameters of our northern climate.
Personal relationships within the industry are important to Jay and provide him with opportunities to deliver cost effective and sustainable strategies to meet the needs of his clients. Jay always strives to create and maintain business relationships with his clients as he understands the wants and needs of each individual project.

Born and raised in the Peace Region area, Jack has always had a love for this area and the community. Jack was a founding partner when establishing Field, Field & Field Architecture-Engineering Ltd. in 1977 and has committed his entire successful career to the firm. Since achieving a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1971, Jack has worked solely in the field of engineering, specializing in electrical systems for building structures. Over the years he has participated in the design of many different types of buildings and has kept abreast of advancements in technologies related to his field with a focus on creating energy efficient building systems. Jack’s expertise in electrical system design includes security, communications, automation and specialty electrical systems design.
Jack is an active community member and is an imperative volunteer at St. Paul’s Church. As he is known by many in the community, Jack has always valued personal relationships and integrity with his clients.
